I have never considered myself a religious or superstitious person, but sometimes reality pushes you to believe in things you once dismissed.
Back in 2014, I suffered from persistent physical pain at night for over two months. It was a frustrating and helpless situation. A friend suggested I try feng shui, and that was when I met Master KK.
I clearly remember inviting her to my apartment. She carefully checked every corner of the space with a luopan (feng shui compass). After her thorough inspection, she turned to me and said her first words: "My goodness, if you haven’t had a heart attack in this place, you are truly lucky!" She said this without knowing anything about my struggles.
Then she advised me to place a clock in the center of my apartment — the area where I spent most of my time working, eating, and relaxing. Her specific instruction was to get a clock with a loud sound effect (SFX) that chimes every 15 minutes. My reaction at the time was: "Are you serious? A clock that chimes every 15 minutes?" But despite my doubts, I decided to follow her advice.
As someone who values aesthetics and design, I was determined to find the best clock possible. However, finding a clock that was visually appealing and had the required sound function proved to be a challenge. I had to endure a few more sleepless nights while waiting for the "perfect" clock to arrive, and all this happened in Shanghai.
Finally, after a week, the clock arrived. From that day on, the chimes became a regular sound in my apartment — every 15 minutes.
Believe it or not, the result was shocking. I started sleeping soundly like a baby, and the pain that had been troubling me completely disappeared. It was nothing short of a miracle.
This experience not only introduced me to Master KK but also opened my eyes to understanding the principles of feng shui.
To this day, I still see this as a calling — a moment in life that guided me toward something greater.
